Hey, I'm Vick! Nice to meet you.
I'm a Calgary local, badminton fanatic, and the person behind Capminton.
You'll usually find me at Centre Avenue Badminton most evenings, smashing clears and probably chasing down a stray shuttle. I play 4-5 times a week—it's basically my second home at this point! If you're ever there, come say hi. I'm the one with the bright orange cap on my tube (obviously 😄).
The idea for Capminton came from years of the same frustrating moment: four identical Yonex tubes on the bench, everyone reaching, nobody sure which one's theirs. Sound familiar? As an engineering grad from the University of Alberta, I figured I could solve this—so I fired up my 3D printer and got to work.
Now I get to combine two things I love: badminton and making cool stuff. Every cap is designed and printed by me, right here in Calgary. It's a small operation, but that means I personally check every order and actually care that you're happy with it.
